As the body piercing practices
changed in the US, the jewelry associated with it also evolved. There was a
time, when even safety pins were adorned as jewelry. Though being impractical,
it phased out. Many designers and wholesale body jewelry stores, working
exclusively for body piercing jewelry, came with range of embellishments that were
safe and practical to use.
